The Craze
The Craze is a new family fun center that opened here in town and we decided to give it a try. Colton LOVED every minute of being there and he wasn't too happy about having to leave. They have a decent sized play area (like the play place at McDonald's), arcades, laser tag, and miniature golf. We just did arcades and the play place because Colton couldn't really do the other activities. We spent 7 bucks in the arcades and Colton, yes, COLTON won 150 of them with just TWO quarters! Rather significant seeing as our end total of tickets was 270.

This will be Parker and me when we are 90...
An elderly couple walked into the lobby of the Mayo Clinic for a checkup and spotted a piano. They've been married for 62 years and he'll be 90 this year. Check out this impromptu performance. We are only as old as we feel, it's all attitude.
Watch the whole thing, it's adorable!

Some Projects...
On top of having two little ones, I have been doing some small (and I mean small) projects. Here are a few:
This is my mail sorter. I can't stand mail on the counter, it drives me nuts. I found this tutorial online and modified it to fit my needs. I wish I would have had some red fabric so it coordinated better with my ktichen but I just used what I had on hand.

This is my cupcake wreath. Those are cupcake liners scrunched together! I made this wreath for 3$ which makes me like it a even more :)

This is a "clip art rail" that I found online. I hate throwing away Colton's art work (I don't know why, it just makes me feel guilty) and now I have a place to hang it all up! I didn't take into account that he would rip it down from his crib which is why all the art is on one side. Anyways, I think I am going to mod podge some cute paper onto the close pins to make it a little bit more interesting. Eventually there will be a cool quote over the top of the art rail in vinyl. One thing at a time....
Oh and as you can see, I painted over this frightening mural:

2 Months
Paxton turned two months old last Monday! Time is flying. He had his wellness check yesterday and here are his stats: Height 23.5 inches, 75th percentile, and Weight 15.2 pounds, 99th percentile! What can I say, he's a chubby baby.
I was curious to see where Colton was at this stage so I could compare their stats. Colton weighed 13.11 and was 24.5 inches tall.
Paxton loves to eat (obviously), sleep (he went for eight hours last night!), smile, laugh/coo, and look at new things that have bright colors. However, he hates tummy time.

Here is a side by side comparison of the two each at the age of two months. Paxton is on the left and Colton on the right.

Paxton's Blessing
My parents, Parker's sister (Abbey) and two kids came and joined us for Paxton's baby blessing this last weekend. It was a wonderful weekend! I didn't take any pictures at the church because I forgot to charge my camera (boo). These pictures were taken at Parker's Aunt's house, she held a delightful lunch for everyone after church. I am a slacker an didn't take a single picture of Abbey and her boys, shame on me!
Dad made a snowman with Colton. Well, dad made the snowman and Colton ran around and took credit for the hard work!

24 Hours with Shelly
When I found out my younger sister, Shelly, was going to Salt Lake for a wedding I decided she might as well come up to Rexburg. She did. It was such a treat for her to come! Colton loved having someone else to chase him around and Paxton loved having her to cuddle with. We enjoyed Super Mario for the Wii, muddy buddies, and G's dairy ice cream and of course Shelly's hysterical company. She could only stay for 24 hours (literally) but we loved every minute of it. Come back soon Shelly!

One Month!
Our sweet Paxton is now one month old! Here is his four week picture from Tuesday. I added the pictures from each of his one week birthdays so you can see how much his tan has faded (he had to be on special lights because he was jaundice) and how much his cheeks have grown!

Sleep is for the weak.
Let me give you a run down of our Wednesday night/Thursday morning....
11pm I give Paxton his last feeding of the night expecting him to sleep five hours like he has done the last few nights.
2:20 am Paxton wakes up and I'm mad I'm up after just three hours. Parker comes to bed after getting off work at 1am and finishing up some homework.
2:30am Colton starts screaming like we have never heard him scream before. Parker gets up to check on him and reports he is running a fever.
2:45am I finish feeding Paxton, puts him back in the pac'n'play and heads out to take Colton's temperature which read 102 out of his armpit.
3:00am I call the pediatrician because I have never dealt with a fever before. She tells me to give him Tylenol and Motrin because his fever is on the high side. I don't have any Motrin, she said the gas station is open 24 hours.
3:10am I leave for the gas station because Colton is clinging to Parker. I open the garage door to find myself heading out into blizzard like conditions. I freeze the whole way to the gas station because I didn't have time to wait for the car to warm up.
4am Get Colton settled back down to sleep.
4:10am Parker and I crawl back into bed.
6am Paxton wakes up needing to be fed. He takes a VERY large feeding.
6:08 am Paxton starts dry heaving.
6:09am Paxton succeeds at throwing up, ALL OVER ME.
6:09am and 1 second Parker flies out of bed because he thinks breast milk is foul and he doesn't want a single drop on him.
6:10am Parker helps me clean up both Paxton and myself (we both needed a full change of clothes).
6:15am We all get settled back to bed.
8:15am Paxton wakes up because he is starving.
Last night was awesome.
