Baby Shower

I have some seriously awesome friends. Upon hearing that we were having a girl, they immediately united and threw me an amazing baby shower! I can't being to express how much baby gear I received from some very generous people. I got clothes, blankets, a diaper genie (personal favorite!), and more clothes! I was so well taken care of, I felt SO loved by so many.

The chocolate fountain...I think I stood next to this for a solid 20 minutes and dipped whatever I could think of in the chocolate!
Baby shower game; memory. It was so fun and the corresponding treats for getting a match were so clever.
Cute decorations!

These are my neighbors (well, were my neighbors). Sara is on the left and Eileen is on the right. Sara put up with hearing our boys run and stomp constantly (she lived underneath us). And Eileen, Eileen is one of the greatest neighbors I have ever had. She brought us a meal at least once a week and my boys always got some sort of gift from her on every holiday. She was amazing!
All the helpers of the baby shower. Kristen (on the far right) was the brains behind it all.

My favorite picture of myself :)

A visit with Grandma

Parker's mom came to help after Payton was born. She was AMAZING (as always)!!! She played with the boys and took them on errands, cooked and cleaned, and helped us move. She had no idea we were moving but jumped right in and packed at least 80% of our apartment. Grandma won cool points with the boys. Each day she had a new toy or activity to give them and they loved every minute of it! We are both so grateful for all of her help-- we couldn't of moved with this new baby without you!
Aimmee (Parker's sister) snuck up from Virginia for a quick visit!

Waiting for Grandma's last surprise gift. Flashlights! The boys haven't put them down or left the house without them.

A new bike

Paxton has always wanted a bike and we finally got him one! He loves being able to ride along with Colton even though he isn't quite as fast. The smile on his face when he looked at his new bike was priceless!

High five exchange.

Parker's 29!!!

Parker's birthday was last Monday. We didn't do a lot to celebrate (just went to Red Robin for dinner), but there was cake! I took the boys to Dairy Queen and they picked out what they called "a silly clown cake" for Parker. It was a low key birthday but with a new baby, it was about all we could handle!

One Week

Payton had her one week check up and she is doing perfectly! She went from 7 pounds 13 ounces in the hospital and dropped to 7 pounds 4 ounces the day we left (Sunday). The following Wednesday she was back up to 7 pounds 11 ounces. The doctor was impressed with how quickly she gained weight and said I don't need to come back for the two week follow up which they have to ensure proper weight gain! She is on a good 2 1/2 - 3 hour schedule, which for other moms out there, is a VERY good thing! I am getting a little bit more sleep. No complaints, I love this little lady.

Payton Jara Lybbert

She has finally arrived! Payton was born at 10:06 on Thursday, May 3rd of 2012. She weighed in at 7 pounds 13 ounces (8 days early, mind you) and was 20 1/4 inches long. She has been so great to have around! The boys are adjusting as well as they can. Paxton doesn't seem any different but Colton is having a smidge harder time with less attention. Overall, I can't complain. My wonderful sister, Nicole, has been here all week and she has been amazing! She does EVERYTHING and I haven't lifted a finger. It's going to be a rough few days when she leaves and we wait for Parker's mom to fly in. Her first day home from the hospital was a rough one, she wouldn't sleep unless she was held but she seems a bit more adjusted and loves her beauty sleep! We feel so blessed to have this little lady in our home!

Ellen's Dance Dare

Here is the dance dare that I made for the Ellen Degeneres show! The idea is to sneak up behind people in public and start dancing without getting caught. Enjoy!!!!!
