I spent a large portion of Memorial day thinking about the men and women who have served and those who currently serve our country. I watched a few Memorial day specials on T.V. and then wanted to go visit graves of those men and women who made the ultimate sacrafice. With Colton needing naps and plenty of bad timing among other things, I didn't get to make it out of the house. However, the years to come will be spent honoring those who gave all. We spent memorial day afternoon with our neighbors that live below us. They are a young couple with a 2 year old boy so our situations are quite similar. We went to the Porter Park which is the best park EVER! It has a great layout: basketball court, tennis court, shaded area with trees, a big open field for soccer/football, a jungle gym/swing/slides, a carousel, and a splash park. Seriously, best park ever! We spent a few hours at the park having lunch and playing at the water area. Colton loved the water until he got a face full of water..... after that he didn't have much to do with it. It was a great day spent with great friends. Hope you all had a wonderful memorial day.
No, Colton's face is not sun burnt.... I accidently got sunscreen in his eye and it made his whole face red.

OK, same thing has happened to Asher when I have been sunscreening him in the past...super sensative to that stuff. I try to be super careful. That Colton is a cutie.
Hooray for splash park pics!!! Wish we could play!
Colton is so cute. Red hair, hm,there is more red hair genes on your side of the family than originally thought! He's a doll.
Sounds like you guys had fun. I love the header on your blog by the way. It's super cute.
Char, why does he grow so fast?! And where did this red hair come from? Give him a pinch on the cheek from me!! and I conclude that I think I need to make my way to Idaho to see you.
